Yes, several of our counselors are in-network with major insurance providers. Bridget is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, CoxHealth Plans, and VA Community Care. Dr. Arnold accepts Cigna, CoxHealth Plans, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United. Dr. Beatty is in-network with all of those, plus Aetna.

Because these providers accept insurance, their schedules tend to fill quickly and may have limited availability. We also have several self-pay counselors who offer more flexible scheduling and shorter wait times. Many clients choose this option for quicker access to care or to work with a specific therapist.

If you’re not sure which option is right for you, we’re happy to help you find a good fit based on your preferences, availability, and budget.

Nope! A referral is not needed to seek counseling at our facility. Simply give us a call or send an email to get started!

Counseling can help with a wide range of challenges—both big and small. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to, therapy offers a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. Common reasons people seek counseling include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, low self-esteem, and more. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit—many people come simply to better understand themselves and improve their overall well-being.

We have counselors that offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). We also have a range of court-related services, classes, and community programs.

While we do not have anyone in our office who specializes in religious counseling, our providers are able to incorporate religious beliefs into their practice wherever it’s wanted by the client.

Yes, we can see clients in person at any of our physical locations, and our providers can do appointments via telehealth for clients located in Missouri.

The first session is all about getting to know you. Your therapist will ask questions about what brought you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of counseling. It’s a chance for you to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to open up all at once. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the therapy process. By the end of the session, you and your therapist will start to outline some goals and decide on next steps together. Most of all, it’s about building a connection in a safe, judgment-free space.

Our interns are graduate students who practice under the supervision of a licensed counselor. They typically have very good availability and see clients at a reduced rate of $30/session.

We ask that you give at least four hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This helps us offer that time to another client who may be on our waitlist.

If you cancel with less than four hours’ notice—or if you miss your appointment without notifying us—you will be charged the full session fee. We understand that emergencies happen, and we’ll do our best to be flexible when truly unavoidable situations come up.

Dr. Arnold does in-depth psychological evaluations that provide comprehensive diagnoses along with recommendations for treatment, accommodations, and/or medications when applicable. The evaluation consists of a one-hour interview, a series of tests that take 4-6 hours to complete, and an appointment to go over the results.

If this evaluation is court-ordered, we will not be able to bill insurance and it will need to be paid in full before the initial interview.
